Groups & Organisations

Family Worship

Sunday services usually commence with introductory music and are are led by our minister and members of the congregation. The first part of the service is child friendly after which the children leave for their own Sunday Club, where they enjoy learning more about Jesus and the bible through stories, songs, prayer, drama, crafts and games. Worship continues with hymns, songs, music and prayers, as well as readings and a thought-provoking sermon. Communion is celebrated once a month, usually on the third Sunday.

Little Stars

Little Stars is for babies and toddlers under 5, providing an inviting and warm environment for mums, dads, relatives and carers to connect with one another while allowing their children to explore and have fun with a variety of toys each week. At the end of each session we either read a story, sing some songs or have a little dance with the children. This group runs every Monday 1 – 2.30pm and provides the community and connection that can be so needed when raising young children.

Monday Nighters

Meet on the 1st & 3rd Mondays of each month at 3.00pm in the Meeting Room and welcome all ladies to come and join us. Our meetings cover a variety of subjects, both religious and secular, together with crafts, socials and of course tea and cake.

Superstars

Superstars allows primary (and early secondary) school children in the community to come together fortnightly on a Friday evening 5-6.30pm to enjoy some games in our Hall, a short engaging bible story, story-related crafts, and a small meal together at the end. This gives the children a time to play with and connect with other kids, have fun, learn from a valuable bible story whilst giving the parents/carers a breather on a Friday evening.

Forget Me Not

Forget Me Not is a group for people who are caring for a loved one with dementia as well as those living with dementia themselves. We meet fortnightly on a Saturday in the Millennium rooms from 10am – 12.30p.m.

The carers have time to relax and talk to each other, an opportunity to share experiences and support one another. Whilst a range of activities are available for those living with Dementia to join in with if they wish; we tailor this time to suit individuals as much as possible, creating an environment where they will be comfortable and enable them to engage in meaningful activity that will generate positive feelings.
